Every child is creative. Our goal is to help them discover that creativity while learning to appreciate the beauty all around them.
Each month, we’ll explore the work of one of history’s great artists or art movements. Children will learn a little about the artist(s), what made their artwork unique, and the techniques that helped shape their style. From the expressive brushstrokes of Van Gogh to the colorful cut-paper creations of Matisse, each artist becomes the inspiration for fun, hands-on projects.
Rather than simply copying famous paintings, students will learn artistic techniques and use them to create their own original works of art.
